St. Ann offering Lenten program on conversion

02/19/2020 by Hawaii Catholic Herald

“Christ Giving Sight to Bartimaeus” by William Blake. CC

As we begin each day, Jesus Christ calls us to conversion. This call had been happening since before his birth in Bethlehem. During the Lord’s 33-year earthly life many answered this call to conversion.

Join the Adult Faith Formation team of St. Ann Parish in Kaneohe for three Lenten evening sessions in which Bishop Robert Barron illuminates six biblical stories of conversion. He will show how ordinary people were met by Jesus where they were and called to a better life.

The sessions are at the St. Ann Parish Center, second floor, 46-129 Haiku Road, Kaneohe. Each program runs 7-8:30 p.m. Here are the dates and topics:

  • March 9: Bartimaeus and the Rich Young Man
  • March 16: Matthew and Jonah
  • March 23: The Woman at the Well and Journey of the Magi
