St. Anthony Retreat Center in Kalihi Valley is offering “Broken, and Blessed,” a “lectio divina” retreat for those with chronic pain or illness and/or their caregivers, Saturday, Jan. 25, 9 a.m.-3 p.m., in the Rose Hill Building.

“Lectio divina” is a traditional monastic practice of Scripture reading, meditation and prayer intended to promote communion with God.

The retreat will be facilitated by Sacred Hearts Sister Marie Lemert and will include Mass and anointing.

St. Anthony Retreat Center is at 3351 Kalihi Street in Honolulu.

To register, call Sacred Hearts Sister Ivy Yim, 845-0065, by Jan. 20.

The suggested donation is $25 and covers a simple lunch.
