The Pearson Foundation of Hawaii officially dedicated Pearson Place on Dec. 8. The new pregnancy resource center in downtown Honolulu offers free pregnancy tests, support and counseling. Bishop Larry Silva led a short prayer service and blessing of the facility space, and a reception followed. The center is above Pauline Books and Media on Bishop Street. Pearson foundation president Susan Duffy said the foundation felt it was important to have a presence in downtown. The new center is now the sole Pearson location.
