Photo: Hawaii Knights reach the Pinnacle

12/11/2019 by Hawaii Catholic Herald

The Knights of Columbus Hawaii State Deputy Michael M. Madix, right, and his wife, Kim, accepted the fraternal organization’s Pinnacle Award on behalf of the Knight’s Hawaii jurisdiction Aug. 7 from Supreme Knight Carl A. Anderson, left, during the 137th annual Knights of Columbus Supreme Convention in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The Pinnacle Award is the highest honor a jurisdiction can receive, recognizing those jurisdictions which have “led the Order through excellence in membership growth.” According to Knight of Columbus representative Robert Camilleri, Hawaii was one of five jurisdictions which received this award worldwide, and the only state in the United States to receive it.
