Announcements/Appointments

  • Very Reverend Herman Gomes, SS.CC., Provincial Superior of the Congregation of the Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary, has appointed Reverend Esitio Niuliki, SS.CC. as parochial vicar of St. Ann Church, Kaneohe, effective November 23, 2019; and Bishop Silva has confirmed this appointment.
  • Bishop Silva announces the resignation of Father Stephen Macedo as an elected member of the Presbyteral Council. According to the Statutes, the person to succeed him is the one who garnered the next highest vote count in the last election. Therefore, Father Santiago Agoo is now an elected member of the Presbyteral Council, effective November 25, 2019, through June 30, 2021.
  • Bishop Silva has appointed Grace Kikuchi as member of the Diocesan Board of Education for a term of three years effective July 1, 2020, to June 30, 2023.
  • Bishop Silva has appointed Socorro Deguzman as Leeward Oahu Representative to the Stewardship and Development Commission effective immediately to June 30, 2022.
