A parish ministry for those who mourn

10/03/2019 by Hawaii Catholic Herald

Mary, Star of the Sea Church in Waialae-Kahala has a ministry that offers consolation and support for those mourning the loss of a loved one. This “Healing Hearts” ministry provides participants an opportunity to explore mourning through Scripture, prayer, reflection and faith sharing.

If you are coping with the loss of a loved one, you are invited to one or all six of the sessions. These sessions are open entry so you may choose to attend one, two or all of them. There will be six consecutive two-hour sessions on Saturdays, 1-3 p.m., in the parish second floor Activity Center.

The session dates are Oct. 19, 26, Nov. 2, 9, 16, 23. To register or for more information, email Kanani at healingheartshawaii@gmail.com.
