On May 10, Knights of Columbus state deputy Michael M. Madix and state programs and Special Olympics director Gary K. Jose presented a check for $2,700 on behalf of the Knights to Nancy Botello, Special Olympics Hawaii president and CEO. The donation, the most given to the organization by the Knights in Hawaii, is based on the volunteer hours and monetary donations made in 2018.
