People pray around the Taize cross during the 2019 Prayer for Christian Unity Taize Service at the Newman Center/Holy Spirit Parish at the University of Hawaii at Manoa. The ecumenical event has been held since 2008 and is now sponsored by the Diocese of Honolulu and the Hawaii Council of Churches.
