Scenes from Diocesan Youth Day

11/01/2018 by Hawaii Catholic Herald

Four hundred and sixty young Catholics from throughout the Hawaiian islands registered for this year’s Diocesan Youth Day held at St. Ann Church in Kaneohe on Oct. 27. An additional 65 people were involved as planners, speakers and volunteers. This year’s keynote speakers were Anaheim Life Teen movement member and Catholic speaker Chika Anyanwu (pictured at bottom right) and Catholic hip hop artist Joe Melendrez. Diocesan Youth Day is organized by the Office of Youth and Young Adult Ministry and funded in part by the Hawaii Catholic Community Foundation. (Photos courtesy of Dann Ebina)
