First Time in Hawaii

St. Anthony proud of its champ
What an honor for a local boy graduate of an island high school!
No, not Barack Obama. Shane Victorino, 1999 graduate of St. Anthony Jr./Sr. School on Maui, centerfielder and power slugger for the Philadelphia Phillies – 2008 World Series Champs!
The Wailuku Catholic school celebrated “Shane Victorino Day” on Oct. 24, five days before his team won the series, in honor of their latest favorite son.
Victorino, after learning that Philly T-shirts were a rare commodity on Maui, had shipped 300 of the shirts to the school for the special event.
