Serra hosts appreciation lunch for religious

10/17/2018 by Hawaii Catholic Herald

The Serra Club of Honolulu will host its 26th annual appreciation luncheon for consecrated religious brothers and sisters on Saturday, Oct. 20, at the Blessed Sacrament Church parish hall in Pauoa Valley.

The event begins with fellowship at 11:30 a.m. followed by lunch at noon. Dress is casual.

Serra Club President Jack Kampfer said that the gathering “is a small way of honoring the vowed religious who have given so much to our diocese and our Church.”

The lunch is free for religious. For more information, call Jack Kampfer at 621-0852.

The Serra Club of Honolulu is part of Serra International, a lay organization dedicated to fostering and preserving vocations to the priesthood, diaconate and vowed religious life.
