Photo: Perpetually professed

10/17/2018 by Hawaii Catholic Herald

Marianist Brother Mark Motz professed perpetual vows during Mass at Holy Rosary Church in San Antonio on Oct. 6. Presiding at the Mass was Father Oscar Vasquez, the U.S. Marianist provincial. Brother Motz, 30, is from West Chester, Ohio, and worked in campus ministry at Chaminade University of Honolulu after professing his first vows in 2013. He also served in Hawaii as the regional Marianist vocation director. Brother Motz is currently the national vocation director for the order. Brother Sylvester Burkemper also professed perpetual vows on Oct. 6. (Photo courtesy of the Marianists)
