- Bishop Silva has appointed the following to the Diocesan Screening Committee to a three-year term, effective October 1, 2018:

- Reverend William Shannon
- Bishop Silva has appointed Reverend Alfred Guerrero as Pastor of Holy Spirit/The Newman Center at the University of Hawaii, Manoa, effective January 1, 2019. He will replace Fr. Jack Ryan, who will retire at that time.
- The Members of Hawaii Catholic Community Foundation have elected the following to the Board of Directors to a three-year term, effective January 1, 2019:
