09/19/2018 by Hawaii Catholic Herald

Two priests from the Mainland will lead Divine Mercy parish missions next month in six parishes on four islands.

The Eucharistic Apostles of the Divine Mercy is organizing the Divine Mercy Crusade Oct. 3-10. Guest speakers are Father Joseph Aytona, mission director of the Congregation of the Fathers of Mercy based in Kentucky, and Father Mark Wheelan, a Missionary of Mercy from the Society of Our Lady of the Most Holy Trinity in Texas.

The schedule is as follows:

  • Oct. 3, 5 p.m., St. Michael Church, Kailua-Kona, Big Island
  • Oct. 5, 5 p.m., St. Joseph Church, Makawao, Maui
  • Oct. 7, 2:30 p.m., Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, Pearl City, Oahu
  • Oct. 8, 5 p.m., Immaculate Conception Church, Lihue, Kauai
  • Oct. 9, 5 p.m., St. Joseph Church, Hilo, Big Island
  • Oct. 10, 5 p.m., Co-Cathedral of St. Theresa, Honolulu

Each mission will begin with a Holy Hour followed by the talk, “Divine Mercy, the Eucharist and the Rosary,” and Mass. After Mass, a first-class relic of St. Faustina will be displayed for veneration. The mission closes with refreshment and fellowship.
