Letter to the Herald: Aug. 24, 2018

08/22/2018 by Hawaii Catholic Herald

A Hawaii boy

This is in reference to the article of July 27 on Father Robert Spitzer’s catechetical website. He also has a program called “Father Spitzer’s Universe” telecast at 8 a.m. every Wednesday, that is repeated at 6 p.m. on Friday on EWTN, cable channel 408.

My wife and I try to watch it weekly, as we have no computer or cell phone. We learned by watching it that Father Spitzer is a “Hawaii boy” whose father had a law office here, and they attended Mass at Sacred Heart Church on Wilder Avenue.

Jerry Shimoda, Honolulu
