Festa 2018 is a celebration of Portuguese culture

Festa 2018, a festival of Portuguese food, music, crafts and more, will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Sept. 22, at Hawaii’s Plantation Village, 94-695 Waipahu Street in Waipahu, according to the organizers’ online flyer.

The event will feature special appearances by Frank de Lima, Frank Suster, Na Ohana O Ke Anuenue, Ukulele Guild of Hawaii and the Camoes Players. Champ Kaneshiro will serve as master of ceremonies.

Festa 2018 will also have historic ukulele displays.

The event is open to the public and admission is free.

Festa 2018 is co-sponsored by the Hawaii Council of Portuguese Heritage, Leonard’s Bakery, Redondo’s and City Mill.
