For those who mourn, a parish ministry

07/25/2018 by Hawaii Catholic Herald

Mary, Star of the Sea Church in Waialae-Kahala has a ministry that offers consolation and support for those who are mourning the loss of a loved one. “Healing Hearts” ministry provides participants with the opportunity to explore mourning through Scripture, prayer, reflection and faith sharing.

If you are coping with the loss of a loved one, you are invited to come to one or all of six sessions. These sessions are open entry, so you may choose to attend one, two, or all six.

The sessions are two-hours long, Saturdays, 1-3 p.m., in the parish’s second floor Activity Center. Session dates are Aug. 4, 11, 18, 25, and Sept. 1, 8. To register or for more information, email Kanani at healingheartshawaii@gmail.com.
