- Bishop Silva has appointed Reverend William Tulua as Parochial Vicar of St. Catherine Parish, Kapaa, effective July 1, 2018.
- Bishop Silva announces the retirement of Reverend Victor Lanuevo, effective July 1, 2018. He continues to enjoy full faculties of the Diocese of Honolulu in his retirement.
- Bishop Silva has appointed the following to the Diocesan Stewardship & Development Commission to a three-year term, effective July 1, 2018:
- Gwen DeCoito as the East Hawaii Representative (reappointment).
- Keith Tamashiro as the Central Oahu Representative.
- The diocesan offices will be closed on Monday, May 28, 2018 in observance of Memorial Day.
