Photo: Korean bishop visits

04/18/2018 by Hawaii Catholic Herald

Bishop Lazzaro Heung Sik You, fourth from left, of the South Korean Diocese of Daejeon, poses with other priests of his diocese April 10 at Chaminade University’s Sullivan Family Library where Korean artist Sister Benedicta Ha of the Congregation of Divine Providence, at the bishop’s left, opened her 18th solo oriental brush paint exhibition. Every year, usually after Easter, Bishop You visits his priests who serve Korean Catholic communities in the United States. This year the pastoral visitation and retreat were held at St. Pius X Church in Manoa. Pictured, from left, are Father Andrew Seung Hyun Lee (Seattle), Father Simon Chul Hee Kim (New York), Sister Benedicta, Bishop You, Father James Young Kun Kim (Honolulu) and Father John Kwang Chol Hong (Seattle).
