Parish offers ministry for those who mourn

04/18/2018 by Hawaii Catholic Herald

Mary, Star of the Sea Church in Waialae-Kahala has a ministry that offers consolation and support for those who are mourning the loss of a loved one. Healing Hearts ministry provides participants an opportunity to explore mourning through Scripture, prayer, reflection and faith sharing in six sessions.

If you are coping with the loss of a loved one, we invite you to come to one or all of our sessions. The sessions are “open entry” so you may choose to attend one, two, or all of them. The six consecutive two-hour sessions are on Saturdays, 1-3 p.m., in the parish’s second floor activity center.

Session dates are May 5, 12, 19, 26 and June 2, 9. To register, or for more information, email Kanani at healingheartshawaii@gmail.com.
