Msgr. Secor to celebrate Mass for World Day of the Sick

Vicar general Msgr. Gary Secor will celebrate a Mass for World Day of the Sick, at noon, Sunday, Feb. 11 at the Cathedral Basilica of Our Lady of Peace in downtown Honolulu, accompanied by  the anointing of the sick.

Anointing of the sick is a sacrament offered to Catholics who are dangerously ill due to sickness, injury or old age.

The sacrament is for those with serious mental or emotional illness as well.
