Tenant applicants are being accepted for the second of four phases of Catholic Charities Hawaii Meheula Vista, a senior affordable rental housing development in Mililani Mauka.
Located at the corner of Meheula Parkway and Lehiwa Drive in Mililani Mauka, Meheula Vista provides low-income seniors with an affordable permanent living option.
It serves seniors with incomes of 60 percent or less of the area median income, or approximately $43,980 for one person, or $50,220 for two persons annually.
The second phase of the Meheula Vista complex, with 75 one-bedroom, one-bath units, is scheduled to open for occupants in the spring of 2018. Its amenities include fully equipped kitchens, a picnic area, a community room, landscaped common areas, a coin-operated laundary, and an on-site resident manager.
The application deadline is Oct. 15, with a lottery scheduled for late November. To request an application, visit Catholic Charities Hawaii at 1822 Keeaumoku Street, call 524-4673 or visit www.CatholicCharitiesHawaii.org.
The first phase of Meheula Vista — which opened late last year — is fully occupied.
When all four phases are complete, the complex’s four apartment buildings will have 300 senior housing units, a multi-purpose building for resident activities and 143 parking stalls. Limited on-site parking is available for $50 per month. Street parking is not permitted.
Tours of the complex are available by calling 626-9162.
