Msgr. Gary Secor among speakers at Basic Christian Community retreat

Msgr. Gary Secor, Father EJ Resinto and Benedictine Sister Mary Jo McEnany will be the featured speakers at the Basic Christian Community of Hawaii’s 2017 annual community retreat, 9 a.m.-3 p.m., Sept. 16, at the Benedictine Monastery in Waialua, Oahu. All are invited.

The theme for the event is “Spirit alive! Spirit on fire! Rekindle our servant’s heart.” The day-long retreat will include Mass, prayer, inspiration, music and fellowship. Lunch will also be provided.

There will be no parking at the monastery. Participants are asked to carpool and park at St. Michael Church, 67-390 Goodale Avenue, Waialua; or the United Church of Christ, 67-174 Farrington Highway, Waialua. Rides will be provided up to the monastery.
