Evangelization hits the road through series of arts, praise presentations

The diocesan drama group Faith in Action and the diocesan Office of Youth and Young Adult Ministry are hosting a series of five evening presentations in July at parishes across Oahu, entitled “Evangelization on the Road.”

Each talk follows the theme “evangelization through the arts, praise and worship.”

Here is the schedule of talks, speakers and locations. Each presentation starts at 7 p.m.

  • July 11: “God knows us, better than we know ourselves,” by Dallas Carter, St. John Apostle and Evangelist Church, 95-370 Kuahelani Avenue, Mililani.
  • July 13: “Breaking Through the Fear: Trusting in the Lord,” by Benedictine Sister Celeste “CC” Cabral, Co-Cathedral of St. Theresa, 712 North School Street, Honolulu.
  • July 14: “Stuck in the Rat Race?” by Malcolm Zara, St. John Vianney Church, 920 Keolu Drive, Kailua.
  • July 18: “Finding the Right One: Expectations vs. Reality,” by Jose and Mary Elizabeth Alvior, Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 91-1004 North Road, Ewa Beach.
  • July 19: “Discernment and Virtue,” Father Rheo Ofalsa, Holy Trinity Church, 5919 Kalanianaole Highway, Honolulu.
