Photo: Service spanning two generations

06/01/2017 by Hawaii Catholic Herald

Maryknoll School junior Kiana Arcayena and Maj. Gen. Darryll D.M. Wong, class of 1968, were honored at the 2017 Msgr. Charles A. Kekumano Award and Scholarship Dinner May 13 at the Sheraton Waikiki Hotel. Arcayena’s community service with children in need exemplifies the spirit of Msgr. Kekumano in serving others. Maj. Gen. Wong personifies the school’s motto “Noblesse Oblige”, “to whom much is given much is expected,” through his lifetime of community service and passion for education.
