The Kula Catholic Community will celebrate the 125th anniversary of its Holy Ghost Feast, a tradition born from the generosity of Queen Elizabeth of Portugal, June 3-4, at the historic Holy Ghost Mission Church, 4300 Lower Kula Road in Kula, Maui.

Bishop Larry Silva will celebrate a special Mass at 8:30 a.m. on Sunday, June 4.

Saturday’s festivities are day long from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Featured will be comedian Frank De Lima and entertainment by Napua Greig-Nakasone and others. The event will also have baked goods, jams and jellies, malassadas, food booths, Keiki Zone, a farmer’s market, plants and more! Mass on Saturday is at 5 p.m. followed by a small goods auction 6-9 p.m.

Following the bishop’s Mass on Sunday will be the queen’s procession at 9:30 a.m. and the complimentary queen’s meal from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. A small goods auction is scheduled for 11 a.m.-4 p.m. and an animal auction, 2-4:30 p.m.
