  • Bishop Silva has appointed Reverend Alfred Guerrero as Parochial Vicar of Our Lady of Good Counsel Parish, Pearl City, effective July 1, 2017. (To be ordained a priest on May 19, 2017.)
  • Bishop Silva has appointed Reverend Ernesto Juarez as Administrator of Sacred Heart Parish, Pahoa, effective July 1, 2017.
  • Bishop Silva has appointed Reverend Michael Scully, S.J. as Administrator of Malia Puka O Kalani Parish, Hilo, effective July 1, 2017.
  • Very Reverend Johnathan Hurrell, SS.CC., Provincial of the Congregation of the Sacred Hearts – United States Province, has proposed Joseph Pasala, SS.CC. as Parochial Vicar of St. Michael Parish, Waialua, effective July 1 to September 14, 2017; then as Administrator of the same parish, effective September 15, 2017. Bishop Silva has confirmed this appointment.
  • Bishop Silva has re-appointed Sam Knepper as the Kauai Representative to the Diocesan Stewardship & Development Commission to a three-year term, effective July 1, 2017.
