The Congregation of the Sacred Hearts, U. S. Province, will host its first annual fundraiser for Sacred Hearts seminarians called “Funding Our Future.” Two events will support the fundraising efforts.
Dinner with the Provincial Council, April 27, 6-9 p.m., Sacred Hearts Center, Kaneohe. Attendees include Province Advancement Council, honorary PAC member Cardinal Soane Patita Paini Mafi of Tonga, seminarian Sacred Hearts Brother John Sawchenko, and invited guests.
Mass, lunch and entertainment, April 29, 10 a.m.-2 p.m., St. Ann Church and Model Schools, Kaneohe, 10 a.m. Mass presided over by Tongan Cardinal Mafi, 11:30 a.m. lunch and entertainment with Kapena, Keali’ika’apunihonua Ke’ena A’o Hula, St. Ann Model Schools, St. Augustine Tongan Lataki (Youth) and St. Patrick School. Tickets are $30 (age 13 and above); $15 (age 4-12); and no charge for children 3 and under.
