Photos: Shining brightly

12/15/2016 by Hawaii Catholic Herald

On Dec. 10, the diocesan prison ministry hosted its annual “Star Light, Star Bright” Christmas party for inmates and their families at the Women’s Community Correctional Center in Kailua. The day included games and activities such as Christmas card decorating. Bishop Larry Silva was there to greet the women inmates as they arrived at the party with their families. The baskets, filled with gifts and practical items, are donated to the families of those incarcerated. (Photo courtesy of Valery O’Brien)
