  • July 25-31, World Youth Day, Kraków, Poland.
  • August 11, 6:00 pm, Catholic Charities Hawaii Gala in honor of the retirement of Jerry Rauckhorst, Royal Hawaiian Hotel, Waikiki.

Announcements/Appointments

  • Bishop Silva has appointed Bro. Edward Brink, S.M. as a Member of the Diocesan Board of Education, effective July 1, 2016 – June 30, 2019.

Bishop Silva has appointed the following to the Diocesan Pastoral Council for  three-year terms, effective July 1, 2016 – June 30, 2019:

  • Christopher Kalili as the Leeward Oahu Vicariate representative.
  • Josephine Reyes as the Maui Vicariate representative.

Bishop Silva has appointed the following to the Diocesan Stewardship & Development Commission for three-year terms, effective July 1, 2016-June 30, 2019:

  • Pete Hoffman reappointed as the West Hawaii Vicariate representative.
  • Paul Pancho as the West Honolulu Vicariate representative.
  • Melissa Pavlicek as the East Honolulu Vicariate representative.
  • Reverend Edward Popish, SS.CC. as the Windward Oahu Vicariate representative.
  • Lana Vargas as the Leeward Oahu Vicariate representative.
  • Dale Webster reappointed as the Maui Vicariate representative.
