  • July 15-16, Diocesan Pastoral Council, St. Stephen Diocesan Center, Kaneohe.
  • July 16-17, Episcopal Visitation, Our Lady of Sorrows Parish, Wahiawa.
  • July 19, 9:30 am, Bishop’s Administrative Advisory Council, Chancery.
  • July 22, 9:00 am, St. Francis Healthcare System Board of Directors, Liliha Campus.
  • July 25-31, World Youth Day, Krakow, Poland.

Announcements/Appointments

  • Bishop Silva announces the retirement of Reverend Sebastian Chacko, Pastor of Holy Family Parish, Honolulu, effective July 1, 2016.
  • Bishop Silva has appointed Reverend John Le Vecke as Administrator of Holy Family Parish, Honolulu, effective July 1, 2016.
  • Bishop Silva has appointed Reverend Drexel Ramos as Temporary Administrator of Our Lady Queen of Angels Parish, Keokea (also known as the Kula Catholic Community) effective upon his arrival through October 15, 2016. Reverend Ramos is appointed as Parochial Vicar of St. Joseph Parish, Makawao, effective October 16, 2016.
  • Bishop Silva has appointed Reverend Adondee Arellano, M.S. as Pastor of Our Lady Queen of Angels Parish, Keokea, effective October 16, 2016.
  • Bishop Silva has appointed Stephen Gerard Villanueva to the Diocesan Liturgical Commission as the representative of the Kauai Vicariate for a three-year term, effective July 1, 2016 – June 30, 2019.
