WAILUKU — Worldwide Marriage Encounter will present “Languages of Love” — a session explaining the ways love is expressed — 9 a.m.-2 p.m. April 16 at the St. Anthony Church Center in Wailuku.
Couples will have the opportunity to learn their primary love language and that of their spouses. The love languages include: words of affirmation, quality time, receiving gifts, acts of service and physical touch.
The enrichment is based on Gary Chapman’s book, “The Five Love Languages.”
Registration is at 8:30 a.m. The event costs $25 per couple which covers lunch for two, books and supplies.
The deadline to register is April 13. Checks can made be payable to WWME and presented at the door.
The event will be followed up with a community gathering 6:30-9 p.m. May 6 at the Waikapu Community Center. More details will be announced later.

Worldwide Marriage Encounter has offered weekend experiences for more than 45 years and is considered the original faith-based marriage enrichment program. In North America, the WWME programs are presented in English, Spanish, French and Korean languages.
The next Worldwide Marriage Encounter weekend in Hawaii is set for April 29-May 1 at the St. Anthony Retreat Center on Oahu. There is also a weekend scheduled for Sept. 23-25 at the same site on Oahu; and Aug. 26-28 on Maui.
