Deacon John Coughlin, below, carries oil to the sanctuary. The Chrism Mass is the annual liturgy where oils for use in administering the sacraments are blessed. Representatives from Oahu and Molokai parishes, and military and ethnic Catholic communities, brought their oils to the co-cathedral in baskets and sleek glass containers.
