Sacred Hearts Father Herman Gomes gives the keynote talk at the diocese’s fourth annual “Stewardship Day” event, Feb. 6 at St. Stephen Diocesan Center in Kaneohe. Father Gomes spoke on “The Spirituality of Stewardship” to about 175 parishioners and clergy from different islands gathered at the St. Stephen Diocesan Center chapel. Stewardship Day participants then spent the rest of the morning attending breakout sessions with diocesan staffers discussing topics such as pastoral planning, discipleship and finance management.
