Obituary: Sister Charlotte Ann Esch, BVM | 1917-2015

Sister Charlotte Ann Esch of the Sisters of Charity of the Blessed Virgin Mary (BVM Sisters), who taught at two parish schools on Kauai in the 1950s and 1960s, died Nov. 30 at Marian Hall in Dubuque, Iowa. She was 98, and spent 80 years in religious life.

Obituary: Sister Noreen (Catherine) Cain, SND | 1925- 2015

Sister Noreen (Catherine) Cain, a Sister of Notre Dame de Namur for 63 years, who taught at Holy Family School in Honolulu for five years, died at Mercy Retirement and Care Center in Oakland on Dec. 14. She was 90.
