  • Bishop Silva announces the retirement of Deacon Daniel Guinaugh from diaconal ministry, effective January 8, 2016.
  • It was earlier announced that Father Kris Kaitapu, SS.CC. would be the parochial vicar of St. Michael Parish, Waialua, and of Our Lady of Sorrows Parish, Wahiawa. His Provincial Superior has decided instead that he wants to assign Father Kaitapu to Congregational responsibilities, so he will not become the parochial vicar of either parish, but instead will be in residence at the Sacred Hearts Center in Kaneohe and will assist in various capacities throughout the island, with full priestly faculties in the Diocese of Honolulu.
