Knights of Columbus golf tournament to raise money for ultrasound initiative

01/14/2016 by Hawaii Catholic Herald

The Hawaii Knights of Columbus inaugural Charity Golf Tournament, Jan. 29, at the Coral Creek Golf Course in Ewa Beach will raise funds to help the Aloha Pregnancy Center in Waipahu to buy an ultrasound machine.

The tournament goal is part of a national initiative to provide ultrasound machines to organizations that counsel pregnant women who may be considering abortion. A free ultrasound exam often helps a woman decide to choose life for herself and her child.

The $150 individual player entry fees covers green fees, a golf cart, the awards buffet, tax, tip, tournament handling charges and door prizes.

Go to www.kofchawaii.org for more information and for a registration form.

The Knights also are looking for companies to help sponsor the event, and also for monetary donations.

For questions regarding sponsorship packages or general tournament rules, contact tournament chairman Michael Madix, sw@kofchawaii.org, or Rollie “RJ,” dd1@kofchawaii.org.

To make a monetary contribution, make checks payable to Knights of Columbus Council 10475 and mail it to Knights of Columbus, c/o Silverio De La Cruz, 91-113 Nehupala Place, Ewa Beach, HI 96706.
