The Diocese of Honolulu is publishing an expanded “Diocesan Stewardship Report” in the Jan. 1, 2016, Hawaii Catholic Herald. The 12-page report includes annual financial figures from the diocesan Finance Office and the Office of Stewardship and Development, plus a whole lot more — stories of how diocesan ministries serve the people of our islands.
To introduce the Stewardship Report, Bishop Larry Silva has recorded a short 2-minute audio message to be played at Masses over the Jan. 2-3 weekend. The bishop’s office was scheduled to email the audio file to pastors and/or parish staffers on Dec. 28.
The Herald will be mailing extra copies of the Stewardship Report to each Hawaii parish for distribution. Contact the Herald office at 585-3317 or email here for more information on how to receive additional newspapers.
