The diocesan prison ministry brought gifts and joy to the Women’s Community Correctional Center in Kailua during its annual “Star Light, Star Bright” Christmas party, Dec. 12. Star Light, Star Bright reunites women inmates and their families at the prison for a day of food, games, activities and quality time. Deacon Richard Abel, in costume, treated the children at the party to a special visit from Santa.
