Star of the Sea Parish offering ministry for those who mourn

10/22/2015 by Hawaii Catholic Herald

Star of the Sea Church in Waialae-Kahala has a new ministry that offers consolation and support for those who are mourning the loss of a loved one.

Healing Hearts Ministry provides participants an opportunity to explore mourning through Scripture, prayer, reflection and faith sharing.

If you are coping with the loss of a loved one, Healing Hearts Ministry invites you to come to one or all of its sessions. These sessions are open-entry so you may choose to attend one, two, or all of them.

Six consecutive two-hour Saturday sessions began Oct. 10, 1-3 p.m., in the parish social hall. They will continue through Nov. 14. The last session in November is 2:30-4:30 p.m.
