Photo: Oh say can they sing

09/11/2015 by Hawaii Catholic Herald

The Daughters of St. Paul singing group, nearly half with Hawaii ties, pose in Boston’s Fenway Park with Boston Red Sox mascot Wally the Green Monster Aug. 23. The sisters sang the national anthem to open the Red Sox game against the Kansas City Royals and “God Bless America” during the 7th-inning stretch. Pictured from left are Sister Fay Josephine Pele*, Sister Maria Kim Bui*, Sister Margaret Timothy Sato*, Sister Sean Mayer, Sister Julia Mary Darrenkamp, Wally, Sister Anne Joan Flanagan, Sister Tracey Matthias Dugas, Sister Marlyn Monge, Sister Joan Paula Arruda*, Sister Mary Martha Moss, Sister Lily Remedias Duhaylonsod*. Those with asterisks have Hawaii connections. The Royals won 8 to 6.
