  • Bishop Silva has granted Reverend Sebastian Chacko a three-month sabbatical from his duties as Pastor of Holy Family Parish, Honolulu, effective July 1, 2015 until September 30, 2015.
  • Bishop Silva has appointed Reverend Antonio Bobis as Temporary Administrator of Holy Family Parish, Honolulu, effective July 1, 2015 until September 30, 2015.
  • Bishop Silva has appointed Reverend Joseph Diaz as Temporary Parochial Vicar of St. Elizabeth Parish, Aiea, effective July 1, 2015 until September 30, 2015.
  • Bishop Silva announces the appointment of the following priests to the parishes noted. Due to a delay in obtaining their visas, however, their original assignment date of July 1 has been postponed. The assignment will be effective upon their arrival.
    • Rev. Thomas Joseph as Parochial Vicar of Sacred Heart Parish and St. Pius X Parish, Honolulu (Manoa-Punahou Catholic Community) — pending the arrival of his replacement in Kula.
    • Rev. Moises Andrada II as Administrator of Mary, Queen of Angels Parish (Kula Catholic Community), Kula.
    • Rev. Cipriano Alnas as Administrator of Holy Rosary Parish, Paia.
    • Rev. Arwin Rebollido as Administrator of St. Mary Parish, Hana (change from previously announced Administrator).
    • Rev. Jaime Jose as Administrator of St. Joseph Parish, Makawao.
    • Rev. Santiago Agoo as Parochial Vicar of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parish, Ewa Beach.
    • Rev. Diego Restrepo as Parochial Vicar of St. Michael the Archangel Parish, Kailua-Kona.
