Photos: Fry-day in Lent

03/27/2015 by Hawaii Catholic Herald

1fishfry11fishfry2Knights of Columbus members from Windward Oahu cooked up some Lenten fun March 13 as they hosted a Fish Fry at St. John Vianney Church in Kailua. The evening’s menu included batter-fried fish, hush puppies, cole slaw, applesauce and fries. Funds raised went toward scholarships for students at St. John Vianney and St. Anthony schools in Kailua, and to aid victims of sex trafficking through the Hoola Na Pua organization.
