UH Newman Center presenting Christian singer Amanda Vernon

The Newman Center at the University of Hawaii-Manoa, 1941 East-West Road, is presenting Christian recording artist Amanda Vernon in a concert/keynote performance 7:30 p.m., Feb. 24. The event is free.

According to the Newman Center’s promotional material, Vernon will deliver a “mix of interactive songs, Scripture stories, personal testimony and a call to action.”

Vernon has given concerts across the Mainland and in six foreign countries, including the 2008 and 2011 World Youth Days in Sydney, Australia and Madrid, Spain.
