Signs of the times: March for Life 2015

01/30/2015 by Hawaii Catholic Herald

1marchforlifeA bright clear day greeted the 300 people who gathered at the State Capitol Jan. 24 for Hawaii’s 42nd annual Rally and March for Life marking the anniversary of the U.S. Supreme Court Roe vs. Wade decision that resulted in abortion on demand across the country.

Catholic youth groups came in by the busload from Honolulu, leeward and central Oahu parishes to hear the guest speakers, wave pro-life signs for passing motorists and listen to the live music.

The event was sponsored by Aloha Life Advocates. This year’s theme was “All human life, born and unborn, are precious gifts.”

The keynote speaker was Sacred Hearts Father David Lupo.
