  • Very Reverend Johnathan Hurrell, SS.CC., Provincial of the Congregation of the Sacred Hearts-United States Province, has proposed Reverend Ajith Kumar Antonydass, SS.CC. as Parochial Vicar of St. Ann Parish, Kaneohe, effective December 1, 2014. Bishop Silva has confirmed this appointment.
  • Very Reverend Johnathan Hurrell, SS.CC., Provincial of the Congregation of the Sacred Hearts-United States Province, has proposed Reverend Lusius Nimu, SS.CC. as Pastor of St. Michael Parish, Waialua, effective January 1, 2015. Bishop Silva has confirmed this appointment.
  • Bishop Silva announces the retirement of Deacon Benjamin Awana from diaconal ministry, effective December 7, 2014.
  • Bishop Silva has appointed Paula Manz to the Diocesan Liturgical Commission as the representative of the West Honolulu Vicariate for a three-year term, effective November 15, 2014 – November 14, 2017.
