Announcements/Appointments

  • Bishop Silva announces that Reverend Arnold Ortiz, formerly a member of the Oblates of St. Joseph, was incardinated as a priest of the Diocese of Honolulu on June 12, 2014. His status changed from Administrator to Pastor of St. Elizabeth Parish, Aiea, effective July 1, 2014.
  • Bishop Silva has appointed Reverend Gregorio Apuya as the Vicar Forane of the East Hawaii Vicariate, effective July 2, 2014 until June 30, 2017.
  • Bishop Silva has appointed Sister Malia Dominica Wong, O.P., as the Vocations Coordinator of the Diocese of Honolulu, effective July 1, 2014.
