Spend a fiesta day in the country at Our Lady of Mount Carmel

07/04/2014 by Hawaii Catholic Herald

Parishioners at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Waikane are inviting the public to their feast day celebration, July 19, 9 a.m.-3 p.m.

The “fiesta” will take place on the parish grounds at 48-422 Kamehameha Highway. There will be Hawaiian food, hot malassadas, shave ice and a bake sale. Organizers are planning a silent auction, games and live entertainment, as well.

Kids will also be able to enjoy playing on bouncers and rides.

Saturday Vigil Mass will follow the feast day festivities at 4 p.m.
