05/09/2014 by Hawaii Catholic Herald

The occasion was the first in a series of concerts featuring the new instrument, which was custom-installed in March to the unique acoustics of St. Augustine’s high-ceilinged interior. The organ has 92 pipe organ voices and 32 orchestral voices. Cubero played works by Samuel Barber, J.S. Bach, Cesar Franck and Tomaso Albinoni which showcased the instrument’s power and musical color.  (Courtesy photo)
