Have you had a saintly encounter of the papal kind?

03/28/2014 by Hawaii Catholic Herald

1popecanonizationWhat is your Pope John Paul II experience? Did you shake his hands at a general audience in St. Peter’s Square? Did you go to the Mass in Brussels where he beatified Father Damien? Did you see him at a World Youth Day? How did you feel at the time? What are your memories?

The Hawaii Catholic Herald would like to publish your stories in a special April 25 issue for the canonization of Pope John XXIII and Pope John Paul II which takes place in Rome on April 27.

We may even have some old-time readers with stories about Pope John XXIII. We would love to hear those too.

Send your stories and pictures to: Patrick Downes, editor, Hawaii Catholic Herald, 1184 Bishop Street, Honolulu, HI 96813. Or email them to pdownes@rcchawaii.org.

We will return photos upon request.
